Weekly Worship Service Information

The following description of our Lord’s Day activities is provided to assist your participation with us.

Participatory Worship

We believe God meets with us through the medium of worship. Our entrance was purchased by Christ and is illuminated by the Holy Spirit, centered around preaching from the Holy Scripture. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper each week, sing hymns and psalms, read scripture, and confess our faith together. We pray quietly with the leader in personal and corporate prayer time.

Teaching Time and Prayer

After worship, we meet as a congregation for a time of teaching, discussion, and corporate prayer.  We discuss particular applications of the scripture relative to our roles in the family, church, and society. This enhances our accountability to Him and each other within the body. We then spend time in prayer for one another’s needs.

Fellowship

We often share meals all together after worship time. Typically the second and fourth Sunday of the month. Or at special events or in smaller groups in our homes. We get to know each other and each other’s families so as to be a community of families with whom children are all held to the same Scriptural standard. While we have many associations and friendships outside the church, we seek wisdom and counsel from those who serve our Savior and Lord, and who seek His glory foremost.
